Notepad++ 5.8.4

Notepad++ is a source code editor, and a programme designed to be a substitution for Notepad, that supports several languages. Governed by General Public License (GPL), the application is based on the Scintilla, an effective editing component. Notepad++ is written in C++ and uses pure Win32 API and STL, the features ensuring a higher execution speed and smaller program size. It is worth noting that Notepad++ is environmentally friendly thanks to optimisation of as many routines as possible.

Notepad++ version 5.8.4 has been supplemented with some new features, for instance memory leak problem while switching tab was dealt with, also User Defined Language dialog was fixed, as well as backwards search with Asian codepage problem.

What is more, a new capacity in context menu was added (the menu item and folder item can be renamed in whichever language), and an icon display glitch in shell extension context menu was repaired.
