Crysis 2

Crysis 2 is a first-person shooter video game and the sequel to Crysis and its parallel expansion game - Crysis Warhead. The plot is set in New York City, three years after events of the previous installment. Most of metropolises are ruined and became battle fields. Alien armies exterminate humans within occupied areas and control taken regions with patrol spaceships.

The player impersonates ‘Nomad’ once again. He faces off alien forces and hostile-minded human soldiers from Crynet Ops Infantry. 

The game has a complex plot in comparison to the first layout. Characters’ conversations and cutscenes depict consecutive parts of the story. The player can also scan corpses and seek for audio records in order to find traces which are helpful in revealing secrets of alien invasion.

The combat system is well-developed. Thanks to the game engine one can trespass freely through environment and use its elements in variable ways to raise tactics’ effectiveness.
The player also increases his combat abilities by using a nanosuit. One customizes a suit accordingly to its preferred combat style. The player may mix main modes (stealth and armor) with additional modes. It enables one to use superhuman power in new ways, more variegated than in previous installment.
